Refers to a large range within something. Diversity can carry multiple meanings when used to describe groups or societies. A narrow understanding puts emphasize on a few chosen differences, such as ethnicity, nationality and religion. A wider definition includes all forms of diversity. This could be culture, ways of living, values, wealth, politics or even taste in music.
